Material
Solid prime oak indicates the grade of the timber. Prime is a clean, 1st quality, hand-selected timber known for consistent grain and even colouration. As oak is a natural product you should still expect slight visual differences between each stool. For example, joints, knots, grain pattern and colouration will vary between stools.
Uniform colour ranging from light tan to medium brown.
Design
Our Farmhouse stool boasts the thickest seat we offer with a deeper carving to complement. In addition, the stool is supported by more substantial oak legs for a solid, sturdy frame, yet still maintaining a minimal design aesthetic. We always select the widest pieces of oak for the tops of our stools. This really showcases the stunning beauty of this natural material with its continuously flowing grain patterns Very rarely are such wide pieces used in modern furniture making - your new furniture will be truly unique.
Soft pads are fitted to the feet of each leg to protect your floor and two footrests provide additional comfort.
All our furniture is hand-crafted in our bespoke workshop located in Beccles, Suffolk with timber sourced from Sutton Timber, our local sawmill.
